- Start scheduling posts for September 22 – October 7
- Focus messages on how breastfeeding supports the environment and climate change solutions, and how sustainable support systems (e.g., family, peers, health care workers, the healthcare system) can support breastfeeding.
- Identify local parents, health workers, or supporters willing to share testimonials or stories.
- Use key messages:
Breastfeeding is natural and eco-friendly. It reduces waste, energy use, and pollution.
Support systems are essential. Communities must create policies, spaces, and services that protect breastfeeding.
Everyone has a role to play – Partners, families, employers, and policy makers.
