The Breastfeeding Committee for Canada (BCC) respectfully and humbly acknowledges the traditional territories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Turtle Island (colonially known as Canada), upon whose lands and waters we live, work, and learn.
We recognize the ongoing impacts of colonization and systemic racism and affirm our responsibility to promote culturally safe care and advance reconciliation to support the health and well-being of Indigenous families.
BCC is committed to working in partnership with Indigenous Peoples, who have nurtured these lands since the beginning of time.
