Improving Maternal Child Health in Canada
Since 1991, the Breastfeeding Committee for Canada has been dedicated to implementing evidence-based infant feeding practices in healthcare settings across the country. Through the Baby-Friendly Initiative, we’ve supported healthcare facilities in providing consistent, evidence-informed care and support that helps families meet their infant feeding goals.
Our mission is to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding and informed infant feeding decisions by providing national leadership and guidance for the Baby-Friendly Initiative.
